SDO is a family-run business based in Outaouais. Directed by Murielle Filiou, registered nurse and President/Chief Executive Officer, and her son, Karim Filiou, Vice President, SDO has a dynamic team of more than 180 health care professionals meeting the needs of the national capital region’s people.

Our priority is to offer a personalised service while constantly evolving our health care knowledge, such that both our clients and employees benefit. Being attentative, quality of life and flexibility are considered of prime importance for the well-being of our employees and clients. At SDO, no one is ever just a number.

As the employee to have been with SDO the longest time, I have seen the company evolve at lightning speed since the arrival of a new management team in 2007. Since then, I have been motivated to push my limits and learn new things every day.

As an Evening Coordinator at SDO, it is my responsibility to respond to clients’ needs 24 hours a day. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that you have facilitated a person in distress receiving much-needed aid.
